Late night ranting – 2 | Struggle

I believe everything is a struggle and probably struggle is the only thing that’ll stay constant.

Let us assume the case of a tiger. A tiger has to struggle hard to get it’s meal. If it doesn’t struggle, it doesn’t get food. If it doesn’t get food, it won’t be able to survive. It’ll cease to exist.

Similar is the case of a human beings. While we have achieved ways that make it much easier for us to get food, but the real thing is, we don’t just need food to survive, we need more. The struggle that we do helps us grow and get what we need and want. It helps us survive.

So no matter who you are, you need to remember the fact that you have to struggle to grow. Financial weak people struggle to get their basic needs, famous people struggle to maintain their reputation and fame. Rich people struggle to live up to the expectations of people and themselves. This struggle that each individual has to go through, makes them who they are.

Don’t run away from struggle. Embrace it. Work on it. Conquer it so you could move on the next struggle. That’s the only way to go forward.

Some of you might wonder why I believe one needs to live this way especially since I posted yesterday how I don’t believe anyone should be forced to live life in a particular way. It’s quite simple, I believe one needs to struggle to make some ground for themselves. You’re entirely free to choose which of the struggles you want to conquer. What do you want to conquer is entirely upto you, but in order to survive you need to conquer something and that’s what I believe in. You can choose not to believe this and I’d be okay with that, but the more you ponder over it, more you’d start believing in that too.

If you want to leave behind a legacy (the definition is quite subjective), you’d have to do something extraordinary. To do something extraordinary, you’d have to struggle the way no one has.

I guess that is what life is all about. Moving from one struggle to other until you find a struggle you don’t mind doing for the rest of your life.

P. S. I have an extremely different perspective on a lot of things and you’re entirely free to disagree with it. I’d be more than happy to hear your thoughts on that.
